Consultancy Services for Environmental Impact Assessment for Yatta Dam.
The objective of this assignment was to carry out environmental impact assessment study for the proposed Yatta dam. The study allowed for the issuance of an EIA license that allowed the commencement of construction work. Appropriate mitigation measures were identified for the significant potential negative impacts. In addition, suitable environmental management and monitoring plans were developed for each project.
