The assignment was carried out for the National Water Conservation and Pipeline Corporation in Kenya. The main objective was to carry out the final design and environmental impact assessment of the proposed Ijara water canal for the purposes of minimizing the effects of floods along the lower areas of the Tana River and for water supply to the community.
