This landmark project is transforming sanitation access for over 1.9 million residents across Nairobi’s urban, peri-urban, and informal settlements. Frame Consultants led the feasibility studies, detailed engineering designs, tender documentation, and comprehensive environmental and social safeguards to enable citywide inclusive sanitation solutions.

Our work spanned both sewered and non-sewered systems, ensuring technically sound, socially responsive, and financially viable sanitation infrastructure. A key highlight was the development of a connection strategy and implementation manuals, enabling rapid uptake and long-term sustainability. The project stands as a benchmark for inclusive, scalable sanitation planning in rapidly growing cities.
