Development of Social Dimension of Kenya’s Water Sector Strategic Plan (WSSP) 2009 – 2014
The overall objective of the assignment was to contribute high quality inputs to social dimensions in the WSSP. The output formed the social dimension chapter in the WSSP. We provided critical inputs in the preparation and the drafting of the WSSP, as well as contributed to identifying opportunities and constraints for consideration in the WSSP by identification of the need, definition of goals, objectives for social aspects in the strategic plan and elaboration and mapping out of a strategic framework for achievement of the identified issues in the WSSP.
