The assignment covered conducting a technical, financial, legal and human resources audit for 2008/09 & 2009/10 financial years. Our involvement focused on the technical aspects with special attention to ensure that quality assurance systems have been implemented and maintained during the audit period consistent with Good Industry Practice, goods received and works performed were fit for purpose of acceptable quality and that payments made were consistent with the goods received or work performed, adequate internal controls existed during the period to ensure reasonable accuracy of non-financial numbers included in reports and adequate documentation and internal reporting and information systems to support the assertions regarding compliance with the Service Provision Agreement has been maintained.
